About Rosso Magma
Rosso Magma is one of the deepest most vibrant reds Ferrari currently offers. It's a triple layer red that's quite a bit darker than the well known Rosso Corsa. Due to its triple layer paint finish it really pops under direct sunlight, transforming the color with an orange / gold glow.
The story of Rosso Magma
Rosso Magma is also a Maserati name: Maserati's 2014 Centennial Edition GranTurismo and GranCabrio introduced a pair of special colors, Rosso Magma and Inchiostro Blue, intended to pay tribute to the colors of the Maserati logo. At Ferrari the color belongs to Tailor Made and one-off work. The Omologata, a client-commissioned one-off based on the 812 Superfast and introduced in September 2020, was finished in Rosso Magma — the tenth front-engined V12 one-off Ferrari had built since 2009.
