About Rosso Coburn
Estimated from the dominant body color of the carpaints.co photo (Ferrari 488 Pista; 35% of frame). Rosso Coburn is a unique Ferrari paint named after Stephanie and Ian Coburn. The paint itself was not specifically created for the customer as we've often times seen but already existed prior to the speccing of their car. Interestingly enough the color had no specific name and still didn't even 6 months later when they went to the factory to lock in the spec of their 458 Speciale. At that point the personal designer wrote Rosso Coburn on the sample and a new color was born and has since been requested by various other owners. This paint is sometimes nicknamed 'the color of love' by Ferrari, hinting to the passionate couple. It's a deep triple layer red, relatively dark in tone but with a lighter colored metallic flake which gives it a bright glow in direct sunlight.
