About Azzurro Iridescente
Azzurro Iridescente is a bespoke Ferrari Tailor Made color using multi-layer iridescent pigments. Rather than a single static hue, it shifts through a spectrum appearing blue at some angles and light conditions, then moving toward pink, purple and even orange as the light and viewing angle change. The effect is achieved through a complex layering of pearlescent and interference pigments to produce a high-impact chameleon finish. Offered only via Ferrari Tailor Made or special commissions, Azzurro Iridescente has already been seen on a handful of models.
The story of Azzurro Iridescente
Carpaints.co lists Azzurro Iridescente as a Ferrari color-shift paint made by PPG. ROSSOautomobili wrote in 2023 that, to its knowledge, an SF90 Stradale was the first Ferrari seen in the color, which shows pink, purple, blue and gold depending on the angle; it later documented a matte version, Azzurro Iridescente Opaco, shifting between blue, purple and pink tones.
