About Grigio Fiat
Estimated from the dominant body color of the ROSSOautomobili photo (Ferrari 250 Europa GT; 64% of frame). ROSSOautomobili lists it in "34 Ferrari colors you have never heard about".
The story of Grigio Fiat
Grigio Fiat is recorded on 1955 250 Europa GT chassis 0391 GT, sent to Pinin Farina for coachwork in June 1955 and delivered new to Pietro Barilla of the pasta family, reportedly a close friend of Enzo Ferrari. RM Sotheby's, which sold the car at Monaco in 2012 for €582,400, says it was refinished in its original livery of Grigio Fiat with a Panno Grigio interior in a restoration by Carrozzeria Nova Rinascente, and that Ferrari chose and photographed this car to show Grigio Fiat in a factory catalog of period colors; it won the Trofeo Pininfarina at the 2002 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. The Munich dealer Schaltkulisse sold the car again in June 2025, and ROSSOautomobili calls the shade a classic 1950s color first featured on this 250 Europa GT.
