The matt paint of the HC25, the Special Projects one-off built on the F8 Spider and unveiled at the Ferrari Racing Days at the Circuit of the Americas, Texas, on 15 May 2026: Ferrari describes it as "finished in matt Moonlight Grey exterior paint" (Ferrari magazine). Estimated from sunlit body panels: the door reads #7f8180 in Ferrari's photo and #828284 in the ROSSOautomobili photo; shaded flanks read #5d5d5f to #6c6c6d and the wings, where they catch the light, #8d9196 to #929193. The story of Moonlight Grey
Moonlight Grey is the matte exterior paint of the Ferrari HC25, a one-off from Ferrari's Special Projects program unveiled on May 15, 2026, at the Ferrari Racing Days at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Designed by the Ferrari Design Studio under Flavio Manzoni to the wishes of a single client over roughly two years, the HC25 is derived from the F8 Spider, the last open-top Ferrari with the non-hybrid turbo V8, and keeps its layout, chassis and powertrain. Ferrari says the body is finished in matt Moonlight Grey to give solidity and fullness to the forms, set against a glossy black band; yellow accents on the Ferrari logos and brake calipers are echoed in a gray technical-fabric cabin, and the five-spoke wheels have a diamond-finished outer rim.
