About Verde Kers
Believed inspired by the matte green of the 599 HY-KERS concept.
The story of Verde Kers
Verde Kers takes its name from the 599 HY-KERS, the lime-green hybrid "vettura laboratorio" Ferrari presented at the 80th Geneva Motor Show on March 2, 2010, as Autoblog reported from the stand; Wikipedia records that Ferrari tested its KERS on a 599 mule after Kimi Räikkönen's 2009 Belgian Grand Prix win with a KERS-equipped car. Carpaints.co says the show car's paint was matte and that the gloss production shade is Verde Hy Kers Lucido, Verde Kers Lucido or simply Verde Kers, a two-layer metallic seen on the 488 Pista, SF90 Spider and 296 GTB; duPont Registry confirmed the full name on a 488 Pista in 2023. ROSSOautomobili pictures a 488 Pista photographed by Gosia i Michał.
