About Green Jewel
Ferrari.com: inspired by David Piper's 365 P2; first seen on the 70th-anniversary 'Green Jewel' livery.
The story of Green Jewel
Green Jewel is, in Ferrari's words, "a bold, vivid shade inspired by the Ferrari 365 P2", the color favored by David Piper, who won the 9 Hours of Kyalami in 1965 and 1966 in a 365 P2 — with Richard Attwood both years, Grokipedia records. It arrived with the 70th-anniversary liveries at the Paris show of 2016 on a 488 Spider named "The Green Jewel", with roundels numbered 25, which RM Sotheby's sold at Maranello in 2017 for €1,090,200 as the only 488 Spider built so; RM also offered an F12berlinetta, one of five Ferraris in the livery. Carpaints.co calls the paint Verde Jewel, since available through Tailor Made; ROSSOautomobili pictures a 488 Pista by Tomáš Végh.
