About Verde Francesca
Inspired by Maserati's Verde Tevere; named after a Pista owner's granddaughter.
The story of Verde Francesca
Verde Francesca was created in 2018 by the owner of a Tailor Made 488 Pista, who named it, carpaints.co quotes him, after "a very special little girl" — his granddaughter, ROSSOautomobili says. Its origin is a 1950s Maserati color, Verde Tevere, recently used ex-factory on a Ferrari 250 SWB; the owner made his own samples in the UK before visiting Maranello, and Ferrari's version differs slightly. Carpaints lists a three-layer gloss paint also offered by Ford, pictured on a Ford GT, 296 GTB and 812 GTS; ROSSO's photograph of the Pista is by LdnCarphotography.
