About Signal Green
Porsche-derived color name; bespoke on Ferrari.
The story of Signal Green
Signal Green is Porsche's Signalgrün, a late-1960s color that carpaints.co lists with Porsche codes P56 and 22S and PPG 666075 and says Ferrari has offered as a bespoke paint. Its famous Ferrari is Jay Kay's LaFerrari, chassis 203504, ordered through Dick Lovett in Swindon and handed over on June 24, 2014, "configured in vibrant paint-to-sample Signal Green" as an Extra-Campionario order and believed the only LaFerrari in the color; Kay told RM he thought the Italian-flag green appropriate with the red lights. He sold it in 2019 and RM Sotheby's sold it at Monaco in 2026 for €5,067,500. Motor Authority nicknamed it Kermit Green in 2014; ROSSOautomobili pictures a 488 Pista by Kroymans.
