The story of Transitional Zaffiro
Zaffiro is one of the "transitional carbon" tints Ferrari's Tailor Made offers solely for the Daytona SP3, named with Rubino, Malachite, Ambra, Oro and Ametista after precious stones and metals, each a barely perceptible hue over the car's exposed carbon weave. ROSSOautomobili notes Transitional Zaffiro carbon accents on a Daytona SP3 in Azzurro Arturo, and duPont Registry described Transitional Zaffiro carbon fiber inside a Daytona SP3 whose exterior was Blu Lucido carbon at Miller Motorcars in 2024. Sapphire is a variety of corundum, per Wikipedia.
