The story of Rosso Le Mans 2023
Rosso Le Mans is the red Ferrari created for its 2023 return to top-class endurance racing. Silvia Cavallaro, Ferrari's head of color and trim, told the race organizer that the team had developed a new color called Rosso Le Mans for the 2023 season. The 499P Hypercar wore it in gloss to stand out at night, while Ferrari's 2023 Formula 1 cars used the same hue in matte, paired with Giallo Modena. Ferrari's August 2023 Monza livery announcement restated the shared color after the 499P's overall Le Mans win in June — Pier Guidi, Calado and Giovinazzi, Ferrari's first since 1965, Wikipedia records —. In June 2023 Ferrari also offered a 499P-inspired SF90 Stradale livery in glossy Rosso Le Mans to a select number of clients.
