The story of Rosso Vero
Rosso Vero is the red of the Ferrari P80/C, a one-off track car built on the 488 GT3 for the Hong Kong entrepreneur TK Mak. Ferrari's own article on the car says the main bodywork is painted in a bright red called Rosso Vero, a name chosen by the client to show his loyalty to Ferrari's Sports Prototype tradition, while carbon-fiber parts with a purely technical function are left bare. Ferrari describes the P80/C as having the longest development period of any of its one-offs, with work starting in 2015, and first showed it publicly at the Goodwood Festival of Speed alongside the SP3JC.
