About Rosso Berlinetta
Rosso Berlinetta is a paint introduced by Ferrari in 2012 together with the F12 Berlinetta, on which it featured as the communication color. It's a slightly darker shade of red with a triple layer paint finish which is still available today as an extra range paint.
The story of Rosso Berlinetta
Ferrari's release for the F12berlinetta's online unveiling, dated 29 February 2012, described the car as finished in a new Rosso Berlinetta three-layer color. Ferrari's own report from its Geneva stand in March 2016 again listed an F12berlinetta in Rosso Berlinetta with a Cuoio leather interior. The color is in the auction record: RM Sotheby's sold a 2013 F12berlinetta, chassis 194930, finished in Rosso Berlinetta over beige leather, for $310,250 at Monterey in 2023.
