The story of Marrone Dino
Marrone Dino was a metallic brown of the Dino and 308 years. 308-328.com lists it under Salchi code 106-M-73, later 633-2-007, from 1975 to mid-1981, then Glasurit FER309, which became FER303/C in 1981 and lost "Dino" from its name. RM Sotheby's cataloged Dino 308 GT4 chassis 08580 as leaving the factory in July 1974 in Marrone Dino Metallizzato over Pelle Beige and Panno Beige, distributed through Charles Pozzi in Paris, and sold it in Dubai in 2024 for $46,000. Bring a Trailer sold Dino 246 GT chassis 03580, described as one of 215 Dinos finished from the factory in Marrone Dino Metallizzato (106-M-73) and repainted in its original shade during a restoration begun in 2014, for $567,000 in August 2022.
