About Marrone Luci di Bosco
Marrone Luci Di Bosco is a historic brown metallic paint by Alfa Romeo, most recently seen on models like the 159 but dating back to the early 80s. It's a color that has also been adopted by another Italian manufacturer, namely Ferrari, who offers it as an off-catalogue paint through their Tailor Made program.
The story of Marrone Luci di Bosco
Marrone Luci di Bosco is an Alfa Romeo color that Ferrari has offered through Tailor Made. Carpaints.co records it as first released by Alfa Romeo under code 581A and offered by Ferrari as a PPG paint, code 0167, an off-catalog Tailor Made option; its uploads show a 296 GTS, a Purosangue and a Roma, each logged as a Tailor Made special request. The name is old at Alfa Romeo: an aftermarket touch-up catalog lists "543 Luci Del Bosco Metallic" for 1985 and "581A Marrone Luci Di Bosco Metallic" for 2011, and Alfa Romeo's April 2025 release for a year-long exhibition on its colors at the Arese museum names Luci del Bosco first among the brand's signature shades.
