About Canna Di Fucile
Canna di Fucile is a historical Ferrari paint, available from the standard paint range for recent models. It's a dark grey metallic paint with a subtle flake and literally translates to gunmetal grey.
The story of Canna Di Fucile
Canna di Fucile is a dark metallic gray whose name carpaints.co and ROSSOautomobili both translate as gunmetal gray. Ferrari was using it by the mid-1990s: RM Sotheby's cataloged F512 M chassis 100483, delivered to Ferrari of Denver in August 1996, as one of only two known F512 Ms in Canna di Fucile Metallizzato, a smoky-silver shade, the other being chassis 100756. In 2025 ClubAlfa reported RM Sotheby's London lot 599 GTB chassis 187007, described as the last Ferrari built with a manual gearbox, finished in Canna di Fucile over natural cuoio leather. A paint supplier lists the color as Ferrari code 703, carpaints.co gives PPG 783/C and shows it on the 812 Competizione and F12, and the Luce configurator groups it under Historical colors.
