The story of Giallo Senape
Giallo Senape, mustard yellow, is a Dino 246 GT color of 1970 and 1971. Hagerty's record of RM Auctions' Amelia Island sale of March 2005 lists a 1971 Dino 246 GT, chassis 02564, in Giallo Senape with a black interior, sold for $60,500. A 1970 246 GT M-series, chassis 01360, delivered new in Rome on December 2, 1970 with a white interior and offered with Ferrari Classiche certification, was described by its seller as one of only 64 Dinos originally finished in the color. ROSSOautomobili notes that senape is Italian for mustard and that the paint does look a bit like it.
