About Verde Bottiglia
'Bottle green' in the Max Meyer Pininfarina chip book.
The story of Verde Bottiglia
Verde Bottiglia, bottle green, is listed as 16.364 in the Max Meyer chip book for Pininfarina coupes that the 330 GT Registry reproduces, and the Ferrari 400 blog knows 365s and early 400s delivered in "Verde Bottiglia Duco". Two famous cars wore it: 1960 400 Superamerica SWB Cabriolet 1945 SA, the third of seven, which RM sold at Amelia Island in 2015 for $6,380,000 "finished in its original Verde Bottiglia hue", and 250 LM chassis 6167, which barchetta.cc records as Verde Bottiglia over green leather in 1964 and restored to that color in 2023. Carpaints.co lists a modern metallic, PPG 0270, on the 812 GTS and Daytona SP3; ROSSOautomobili's photograph is RM's Superamerica.
