The story of Verde Medio Niyinski
Verde Medio Niyinski is the racehorse-range metallic green of the 365 era: the Ferrari 400 blog lists "Verde Medio Niyinsky 2.443.561" in the standard range carried over from the 365 GTC/4, and the 330 GT Registry's Italver chip set for 365s carries the name. RM Sotheby's, selling 1974 Dino 246 GTS chassis 08454 in Arizona in 2016 for $396,000, called the paint Verde Medio Nijinsky, "a special shade of green metallic" on one of only three examples, restored to its original scheme; ROSSOautomobili's photograph is RM's. Nijinsky, Wikipedia records, was the Canadian-bred colt that won the English Triple Crown in 1970, named after the dancer Vaslav Nijinsky.
