About Marrone Mica
Marrone Mica is a rare Tailor Made Atelier color: carpaints.co describes it as a deep, elegant brown whose subtle metallic flake reveals lighter brown and bronze tones under direct light. The only photographs are Niki Hasler AG’s overcast-day shoot of a 296 GTB in Basel, where the vertical panels mirror the grey walls and cobbles and read almost black; the value shown is the rear deck lid under the open sky (#362E29), the one surface lit by diffuse daylight rather than reflections — low confidence, and in sun the paint will show more brown and bronze than this. Corrected 2026-10-01: the earlier value (#715541) had sampled the cobblestones and autumn ivy around the car rather than the paint. ROSSOautomobili gives the code 605123.
The story of Marrone Mica
Marrone Mica is listed by carpaints.co as a Tailor Made Atelier color from Ferrari made by PPG, documented on one car, a 296 GTB photographed by Niki Hasler and logged as a Tailor Made special request. ROSSOautomobili gives it the code 605123 and notes that Marrone Wilfred, a brown seen on an 812 GTS and a Purosangue owned by the same enthusiast, closely resembles Marrone Mica and can be difficult to tell from it.
