The story of Blu Chiaro
Blu Chiaro appears in two code systems on the 308-328.com register: 106-A-38 among the paint codes specific to the 308 GT4 from 1973 to 1980, and FER503/C as a Glasurit metallic from late 1981. The Dino 246 carried it as Blu Chiaro Metallizzato: Gooding Christie's catalogs 1972 Dino 246 GT chassis 04860, delivered new to Beirut, as one of 52 examples factory-finished in the color, sold for $516,500 at Amelia Island in 2026, and 1974 Dino 246 GTS chassis 08466 as still wearing its original Blu Chiaro Metallizzato over Nuvola leather, sold for $621,000 at Pebble Beach in 2026. The color continued on the Testarossa: RM Sotheby's sold two cars cataloged with original Blue Chiaro paint, chassis ZFFSG17A8K0082752 (1989) and ZFFSG17A2L0085244 (1990, delivered to Hollywood Sport Cars and Ferrari Classiche certified).
