About Atomic Orange

The story of Atomic Orange
Atomic Orange is a General Motors color name: PaintScratch lists it as Chevrolet code 83U/WA418P, used on the Corvette for 2007 to 2009. ROSSOautomobili shows an SF90 Stradale in Atomic Orange, calls the color relatively new to the Ferrari palette, notes that a Chevrolet Corvette C6 wears a basically identical color, and asks whether Ferrari used a Chevrolet color for a few Tailor Made cars. In a comment on that article, Ferrari Club of America member Jim Taylor wrote that the 599 he underwrote for the club’s 50th anniversary is Atomic Orange; a 2013 newspaper report describes that 599 HGTE and its “50 Cities in 50 Weeks” relay without naming its color. ROSSO also lists a matte Atomic Orange Opaco on a Tailor Made SF90 Stradale.
