The story of Giallo Ambra
Giallo Ambra was introduced with the 849 Testarossa, unveiled in September 2025 as the replacement for the SF90. Ferrari created two new colors to mark the return of the Testarossa name, Rosso Fiammante and Giallo Ambra, and described the yellow as an intense and warm shade with reddish hues, inspired by the depth and chromatic richness of natural amber, in words quoted by the Irish motoring site CompleteCar. ROSSOautomobili records it as first seen on the 849 Testarossa in 2025, and when the Ferrari Luce configurator opened in May 2026, Motor1 listed Giallo Ambra among its Classic colors. Amber, Wikipedia records, is fossilized tree resin, appreciated for its color since Neolithic times.
