Late-1960s 'racehorse' palette; documented on 365 GTC 12191 (1969) and a modern F12berlinetta.
The story of Verde Seabird
Verde Seabird is a racehorse-range green of the late 1960s: the Ferrari 400 blog lists "Verde Seabird 2.665.902" in the standard range carried over from the 365 GTC/4, the 330 GT Registry carries the name in its Italver chip sets and "Seabird Green" in its Ditzler table for 1968–71 as Ditzler 44000. Conceptcarz records 1969 365 GTC chassis 12191, completed in March 1969 and delivered through Crepaldi in Milan, still in largely original Verde Seabird when Gooding offered it at Pebble Beach in 2013. ROSSOautomobili pictures a modern F12berlinetta, reportedly the last F12 built. Sea-Bird, Wikipedia records, was the French colt that won the 1965 Derby and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
