About Verde Pallido
Said to be inspired by Stirling Moss's 250 GTO s/n 3505GT.
The story of Verde Pallido
Verde Pallido, pale green, is the extra-range shade that ROSSOautomobili and carpaints.co tie to 250 GTO chassis 3505GT, the car delivered to the UK in April 1962 for Stirling Moss's UDT-Laystall team, which Wikipedia's GTO table and barchetta.cc both record as pale green. Carpaints says Ferrari brought the color back for the 70th-anniversary cars and offers it through Tailor Made as an extra-range option, with a factory sticker reading simply "Pale Green"; ROSSOautomobili pictures an 812 Superfast. The Autopian, reporting RM Sotheby's 2024 catalog for F40 chassis 88538, repainted as a homage to the Moss car, noted that the pale green has inspired paint colors on subsequent Ferrari models.
