About Verde Abetone
Whether the name is the Abetone pass in the Apennines, no source says; Ferrari paired the color with the 1966 330 GTC in its 2007 historic-colors relaunch.
The story of Verde Abetone
Verde Abetone was one of the ten historic colors Ferrari relaunched at Geneva in March 2007 for the 612 Scaglietti, and Classic Driver reproduced the catalog's pairing with the 1966 330 GTC: "a pastel green", Ferrari's take on the English racing tradition. Ferrari's magazine wrote in 2016 that barely one percent of new Ferraris is specified in Verde Abetone. ROSSOautomobili pictures an 812 Superfast photographed by Monserrat Photography and Ferrari Poland; a 2021 FerrariChat owner who specified an Atelier 812 GTS in it wanted a flat, non-metallic dark green with a slight pop; and Motorpasión reported Eugenio Amos repainting an F40 in the color in 2017. No fetched page says the name is the Apennine pass.
