The story of Rosso Qatar
ROSSOautomobili records Rosso Qatar as a darker red commissioned to mark thirty years of Ferrari in the Middle East, with its photograph credited to Ferrari. Ferrari marked that anniversary at Casa Ferrari in Abu Dhabi during the Formula 1 weekend of 6–8 December 2024, unveiling six 296 GTBs, one for each Gulf nation, created by its Special Equipment team with the Color & Trim department. Ferrari's announcement, as reproduced by Tires & Parts News, described the Qatar car as "a deep, dark red" that "captures the strength, pride, and the enduring spirit of its people," and labeled the livery "Maroon for Qatar."
