The story of Blu Nettuno
Blu Nettuno is a matte Tailor Made blue. Ferrari's Tailor Made page for an 812 Competizione A gives the bodywork as matte Blu Nettuno, paint code FYM.*0313, with a livery in matte Blu Ferrari FP1, carbon racing seats in True Blue Ultrasuede, interior aluminum in matte Canna di Fucile and a plaque crafted for a named client. ROSSOautomobili shows the color on an 812 GTS and says the name comes from Neptune, the eighth and farthest known planet from the Sun, known for its rich blue color — a blue Wikipedia attributes to traces of methane in its atmosphere.
