About Alluminio Opaco
Alluminio Opaco or Matte Alluminio is, as the name describes, an aluminium looking paint with a matte finish which is rather rare to see. Visually it looks pretty similar to Argento Nurburgring Opaco but with Alluminio being a slightly brighter shade of silver.
The story of Alluminio Opaco
Alluminio Opaco is a matte, aluminum-toned silver. Carpaints.co, which lists PPG as the paint manufacturer, describes an aluminum-looking paint with a matte finish that is rare to see, visually similar to Argento Nürburgring Opaco but slightly brighter. ROSSOautomobili, spelling it "Aluminio Opaco", calls it a matte finish from the factory and pictures a 488 Pista, and states that Alluminio Lucido is its glossy variant. Ferrari's Cannes dealer advertised a used Portofino in "Aluminium Opaco" with a two-tone Nero and Rosso interior, and in March 2026 duPont Registry reported an F80 finished in Alluminio Opaco, noting that the shade is not a standard F80 color in the configurator.
