The story of Verde Riviera
Verde Riviera is the green of 250 GT Boano chassis 0645GT, the unrestored rally car that Forza profiled in December 2023: completed in April 1957 and painted Marrone, it was soon changed to Verde Riviera, probably at the request of its first owner, Maurice Parucci of the Côte d'Azur, who entered it with Lucien Bonnet in the January 1958 Rallye de Monte Carlo — the first Ferrari in that rally, per Marcel Massini — and went on to a class win in the Rallye Marseille-Provence. ROSSOautomobili, citing Massini via Simon Kidston, gives the repaint as Marrone 1115 to Verde Riviera 1160, worn since 1957/58, with a photograph by Kroymans Ferrari.
