The story of Verde Pino
Verde Pino, pine green, is one of Ferrari's longest-lived greens. The 330 GT Registry's Italver table lists it as 19404 M, "Pine Green", and the 1966 Scaglietti chip book as Verde Pino Metallizzato 106-G-30; 308-328.com carries the same Salchi code on the 308, then 633-7-014, and Glasurit FER601/C from late 1981. Artcurial's catalog for 1965 275 GTB chassis 7341, one of 11 delivered in Verde Pino, gives the Salchi code, and Classic Driver, driving a Verde Pino short-nose 275 GTB in 2016, called it a slightly lighter shade than other greens of the period that in certain light shines almost teal. Carpaints.co lists today's PPG 601 and a sticker reading "Verde Pino 18"; a matte version, Verde Pino Opaco, exists on a Purosangue.
