The story of Verde Inglese
Verde Inglese, English green, is a 1990s Glasurit-era color: Four Wheel Drift lists "Verde Inglese 606 (Green)" as a code distinct from "Verde British Racing 611", and PaintScratch offers 606 as Verde Inglese for 1994–97 Ferraris. RM Sotheby's sold 1996 456 GT chassis 101991, completed in April 1995 and delivered to Ferrari West Europe in Paris, "one of just 55 left-hand drive examples painted in English Green (Verde Inglese)", for £63,800 in London in 2020. Petrolicious wrote that Rowan Atkinson once ordered a 456 GT in Verde Inglese over a red interior; Ferrari's magazine confirms his mid-1990s 456 was green.
