About Verde Bosco
'Forest green'. The Ferrari Colors blog chip is a teal (#007078) and the ROSSOautomobili photo of a 275 GTB (Christopher Steel) agrees — its panels read #138993 to #1d9a9e in sun and #094e5a in shade — while DK Engineering describes the paint on its 275 GTB as a Mercedes pine metallic green. Re-checked 2026-10-29: the chip stands.
The story of Verde Bosco
Verde Bosco, forest green, is a Max Meyer-era name: Four Wheel Drift lists "Verde Bosco 16220 MM", the supplier's code system per the 330 GT Registry. ROSSOautomobili says the color was developed in the 1960s by Glidden Salchi and pictures a 275 GTB by Christopher Steel; DK Engineering's archive of a 1965 short-nose 275 GTB, delivered in Verde Bosco as a non-standard color it describes as a Mercedes pine metallic green, records the car raced by Carlo Benelli, "Riccardone", to 15th overall in the 1967 Monza 1000 km.
