About Verde Abete Savid

The story of Verde Abete Savid
Verde Abete Savid, fir green, is documented on one car: 1961 250 GT Cabriolet Series II chassis 2381 GT, which RM Sotheby's calls "the only second-series 250 GT Cabriolet factory-finished in Verde Abete Savid", a metallic spruce green. Sold in May 1961 to its first owner, the car was later repainted red in the United States and black in 2008 before a restoration led by Bacchelli & Villa returned the original color; it took Best of Show, Gran Turismo at the 2025 Cavallino Classic and sold at RM's Monaco sale in 2026 for €1,580,000. ROSSOautomobili, with RM's photograph, calls the shade a tasteful light green of the 1960s palette.
