The story of Transitional Malachite
Malachite is one of the "transitional carbon" tints Ferrari's Tailor Made offers solely for the Daytona SP3, named with Rubino, Zaffiro, Ambra, Oro and Ametista after precious stones and metals, each a barely perceptible hue over the car's exposed carbon weave; malachite, Wikipedia notes, was a green pigment from antiquity until about 1800. The Ferrari Colors blog lists the tint as Exposed Malachite Green on a Daytona SP3 with a white stripe.
