The story of Nero Stellato
Nero Stellato is a deep black with a very subtle gold flake that carpaints.co says is only really visible in direct sunlight; ROSSOautomobili notes that stellato means starry. Carpaints records it as available on the 599 SA Aperta and since then on various models, mostly as a Tailor Made option, and the auction record bears this out: RM Sotheby's sold SA Aperta chassis ZFF72RDT3B0181259, inspected by Al Tayer Motors in Dubai in July 2011, finished in Nero Stellato over a Nero interior with Rosso accents, and PCarMarket's listing for SA Aperta ZFF72RHA6B0183189 says its Nero Stellato was an Extra Campionario option costing an additional $13,982. ROSSOautomobili adds that a matte counterpart, Nero Stellato Opaco, exists.
