The story of Nero Bahrain
Nero Bahrain is the name ROSSOautomobili gives to the metallic black of the Bahrain car among six one-off 296 GTBs built for Ferrari's 30th anniversary in the Middle East. Ferrari announced the six cars, one for a customer in each Gulf country, at Ferrari Racing Days Abu Dhabi in February 2024, and unveiled them at Casa Ferrari during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend of December 6 to 8, 2024. The release text describes Bahrain's car as a metallic black flecked with gold, evoking its nightscape and starlit evenings, and ROSSO describes a rich black base with subtle gold flakes; all six share a roof, wheels and spoiler in a new matte Arabian Golden Sheen. Ferrari's own text does not use the name Nero Bahrain.
