About Nero Purosangue
Estimated from the dominant body color of the carpaints.co photo (Ferrari Purosangue; 25% of frame). Nero Purosangue is a modern Ferrari color introduced on the Purosangue in 2022 as one of the special color options. It's a unique shade of black which really comes alive under the sun with the metallic flake bringing a dark red and bronze glow with a subtle purple undertone. The color has later been made available on other Ferrari models.
The story of Nero Purosangue
Nero Purosangue was among the launch colors of the Ferrari Purosangue, the first four-door, four-seater Ferrari, unveiled at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico on September 13, 2022. Ferrari's launch release says the color was developed specifically for the car, using pigments that in certain lighting create very intense red reflections. At the car's UK debut at Olympia London on December 6 that year, Ferrari showed one example in Grigio Titanio and one in what it called the new signature paint, Nero Purosangue. Italian press counted 22 exterior colors in the configurator, with Nero Purosangue and Bianco Cervino singled out as two special shades. Carpaints.co describes a metallic black whose flake gives a dark red and bronze glow, and lists PPG as the paint manufacturer.
