About Blu Torrice
Blu Torrice is a modern Ferrari paint color first seen on a Portofino in 2020 having been created for its UK owner. It was seen on a handful of cars shortly after and has since been quickly growing in popularity among Ferrari collectors and enthusiasts. The two layer paint is available exclusively through the brand’s bespoke Tailor Made customization program. Visually, Blu Torrice is a vibrant, electric blue that closely resembles Blu Elettrico at first glance, but offers its own unique depth and brilliance with a more purple undertone.
The story of Blu Torrice
Blu Torrice is a two-layer metallic blue that carpaints.co lists under PPG code 0280 and describes as available only through Ferrari's Tailor Made program, close to Blu Elettrico at first glance but with a more purple undertone. The most widely reported car is an 812 Competizione delivered by Ferrari Quebec in 2024: duPont Registry described a Tailor Made build in Blu Torrice with silver racing stripes running down the center and an interior in Nero Alcantara and Jean Aunde Nero. Carpaints.co documents the same model in Blu Torrice with the Livrea Trasversale stripe in Argento Nürburgring, logged as a Tailor Made special request, and ROSSOautomobili says only a select few cars have been produced in the shade.
