About Blu Mirabeau
Blu Mirabeau is a historic Ferrari color dating back to the 50s or 60s. It got its name from the Mirabeau corner on the Monaco F1 Grand Prix circuit, the corner being named after the hotel that's adjacent to it. It's a dark blue metallic paint with a lighter metallic flake that has a subtle light purple tint to it. At first glance it might look similar to the more common Blu Tour de France but that color is a bit darker.
The story of Blu Mirabeau
Ferraris cataloged in Blu Mirabeau span several modern model lines. A 2005 360 Challenge Stradale, chassis 140149, supplied new to Cornes in Tokyo in January 2005 and Classiche certified, is described by the dealers Dick Lovett and DK Engineering as the only Challenge Stradale finished in the color. RM Sotheby's sold a 2008 599 GTB Fiorano, chassis ZFFFD60B000160180, one of ten European-delivery manual cars, in Blu Mirabeau with Cuoio leather for €623,750 in Paris in 2023. Bonhams offered a 2014 458 Speciale, chassis ZFF75VHT0E0201126, built to Gulf specification in Blu Mirabeau with a Blu Scuro interior and a NART racing stripe, at Chéserex in September 2020.
