About Blu Hembery
Estimated from the dominant body color of the carpaints.co photo (Ferrari 488 Pista Spider; 19% of frame). Blu Hembery is a dark blue paint by Ferrari which even in bright and sunny conditions remains quite dark in tone. Only from the right angles the brighter vibrant blue metallic flake becomes visible, making it no surprise that it appears near black in low light conditions. The color was originally created for Paul Hembery, a British engineer and then director for Pirelli Latin America. It first featured on his personal 812 Superfast and later on a small number of other customer's cars. You won't quickly come across a Ferrari painted in this color as it's not found on the standard palette and thus reserved for special creations although it has been picking up in popularity as of late.
