The story of Blu Flugplatz
Blu Flugplatz is a Tailor Made blue that Ferrari's own site spells Blu Flugplaz. The Tailor Made page for an 812 GTS from the Scuderia collection gives the bodywork as Blu Flugplaz, paint code FYM.*0349, with a French Tricolore livery stripe, racing roundels numbered 171 and a dedication plate reading "Inspired by the 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione 'TdF'"; Ferrari calls the car a homage to that Berlinetta and its Tour de France victories, with the interior in Connolly Luxan leather. ROSSOautomobili pictures the color on a blue Ferrari photographed by Keng Hoe and lists a matte version, Blu Flugplatz Opaco, as a striking and rare color.
