The story of Blu Burt
Blu Burt is the blog's name for the one-off blue of a 1965 330 GT 2+2 Series I, UK registration KPL 36C, which the dealer Premier GT listed in 2026 as one of 44 right-hand-drive UK-supplied cars, believed to have been owned by the British racing driver Patsy Burt — the first woman to win the Brighton Speed Trials and the RAC National Sprint Championship, Wikipedia records — and the only Series I 330 GT 2+2 in "Burt Blue" metallic. According to the listing the color was chosen to match her race cars, and she collected the car, with five tins of paint, from the factory and drove it home from Italy; the history file holds the original 1965 invoice and correspondence about the Grigio interior. The car was fully restored in 2018.
