The story of Blu Askolin
Blu Askolin is a one-off Tailor Made color on a 2023 812 GTS sold by Bernards Exclusives of Woerden in the Netherlands. The dealer's listing describes the paint as developed specially for this car and pairs it with a historic Bianco King livery, forged Argento Nürburgring wheels and a Connolly Vaumol interior in House Lords Red; the factory option list includes EXTC BLU ASKOLIN and TAIL TAILOR MADE, and the dealer says the configuration was inspired by the 250 Testa Rossa of Scuderia Askolin. Ferrari's magazine identifies Scuderia Askolin as the only Finnish team in the company's history, founded by Carl-Johan Askolin, and says its 250 Testa Rossa was painted in Finland's racing colors, blue and white, in 1958. ROSSOautomobili places the shade close to Blu Pozzi.
