The story of Verde Nathalie
Verde Nathalie was named by its owner. In his account for ROSSOautomobili, A.D. describes an October 2018 visit to Ferrari's Tailor Made studio in the Centro Stile with designer Stephanie Abecassis, who, admiring the Grigio Titanio Metallizzato of his 488 GTB, suggested a green equivalent for his 488 Pista; working from Scaglietti's 1950s Celeste Gainsborough they found a greenish silver-gray that reminded him of his wife's hazel eyes, and he named it Verde Nathalie for her, Ferrari allowing a client to name any unused color. The livery took Rosso Coburn and Bianco Sanae, the wheels Canna di Fucile; the photographs are Wylie Caudill's. Carpaints.co records a PPG one-off with a strong gray-silver undertone.
