The story of Verde Bahram
Verde Bahram belongs to the racehorse-named Pininfarina range of the late 1960s. The 330 GT Registry lists it in the PPG/Italver chip set for later 365s, and its Ditzler table carries "Bahram Green Poly" for 1968–71 as Ditzler 43999; Four Wheel Drift gives the Italver code 2.443.546. Gooding & Company sold 1969 365 GTC chassis 12187, "one of just two originally finished in elegant Verde Bahram" and delivered new to Milan, for $852,000 at Pebble Beach in 2019 — the car in ROSSOautomobili's photograph, which calls the color an earthy medium-dark green. Bahram, Wikipedia records, was the Irish-bred colt that won the English Triple Crown in 1935.
