The story of Grigio Competizione
Grigio Competizione takes its name from the 812 Competizione, the limited special series Ferrari presented at Maranello on May 5, 2021. Ferrari's launch release names no paint; carpaints.co, which records PPG code 0130, states that the color was introduced on the 812 Competizione in 2021 as one of two special paint options and describes a medium-to-light gray leaning toward silver with a subtle light-blue undertone. RM Sotheby's sold a 2023 812 Competizione, chassis ZFF03TMB000302270, first delivered in December 2023 through Niki Hasler of Basel and finished in Extra Range two-layer Grigio Competizione with Giallo Fly and Nero stripes, for CHF 1,298,750 in 2025, and the British dealer William Loughran sold a 2023 car in the color with a central Giallo Fly stripe. Carpaints.co also documents a Daytona SP3 in the paint.
