The story of Blu Notte
The 330 GT Registry lists Blu Notte among the official colors recorded for 330 GTs as Italver 18943 M, translated midnight blue, and a Scaglietti paint-chip book carries Bleu Notte Metallizzato 106-A-31. Documented factory-finished cars include 400 Superamerica 3361 SA, bodied by Pininfarina and completed on March 10, 1962, then shown on the Pininfarina stand at that year's Geneva show in Blu Notte over natural leather; 250 GT Lusso 4481, delivered through Crepaldi of Milan in 1963 in Blu Notte Metallizzato over Crema; 500 Superfast 6303 SF, delivered in 1965 and restored in its original Blu Notte before selling for $1,446,000 in 2025; and 275 GTB 08011, which Marcel Massini's research identifies as the only 275 GTB finished from new in Blu Notte over red.
