About Blu Corsa
Blu Corsa was the communication color for the 488 Spider when it was revealed in 2015. It later spread to other models of the brand.
The story of Blu Corsa
Blu Corsa made its public debut on the 488 Spider at the Frankfurt motor show on September 15, 2015. Ferrari's launch text calls it a new color created to enhance the car's forms: a metallic blue designed to meld with the sky, with two-layer paintwork producing an iridescent effect. CAR magazine remarked that Ferrari revealed the car in the new Blu Corsa rather than a traditional red. The color later spread beyond the launch car: a US dealer lists it among the shades offered on the 488 Spider, a 2020 488 Pista Spider was finished in it, and carpaints.co documents it on a 12Cilindri, a Purosangue and an 812 Superfast, describing a light blue with a bright metallic flake.
