About Bianco Avus
Bianco Avus is a solid white paint from Ferrari, found on almost all modern models as a standard range paint.
The story of Bianco Avus
RM Sotheby's, cataloging a 2008 430 Scuderia in 2026, calls Bianco Avus named after Berlin's AVUS circuit and describes it as a solid, non-metallic white, unlike the pearlescent Bianco Italia and Bianco Fuji; Ferrari itself has not explained the name in anything found. Ferrari's account of the 1959 German Grand Prix at AVUS — the Berlin road circuit opened in 1921, Wikipedia records, host of that one Formula One race — records a one-two-three led by Tony Brooks and notes that the circuit never returned to Formula 1. The name appears on cars from at least 2002, when a 360 Modena F1 was sold new in Turin in Bianco Avus. On the Enzo it was a special order: chassis 133023, completed on 22 May 2003, is the only Enzo in the color and was offered by RM Sotheby's without reserve in June 2022.
